The Ayrshire Golf Association Boys Team involves players under the age of 18 who compete anually in the Scottish Boy's Area Team Championship and the West of Scotland Under 18 League for The Wishart Trophy.
Ayrshire have enjoyed success in the Scottish Boys Area Team Championship on three occasions, winning the title in 1998, 2007, and 2021.
Since the West of Scotland Under 18 League competition was innaugurated in 1994, Ayrshire have won the Wishart Trophy on four occasions
